December 31, 2006  Maranee joins several other member yachts of the Classic Yacht Association for front-row seats at the Center for Wooden Boats on Seattle's Lake Union for the Space Needle fireworks display, ringing in 2007. Happy New Year!

December 9, 2006  Taking advantage of manageable winter weather in the Great Northwest is a must and such was the case for this year's Christmas Lights Cruise at the University of Washington Husky Docks. Bundling up with hot cocoa in hand and a parade of beautiful decorated boats made for a great time.

September 19, 2006  Matt Paynton and Diane Geary become engaged on board Maranee! With Matt taking the helm for this short trip, he proposes on bended knee to Diane in Maranee's main saloon in Seattle's Portage Bay, just south of the University of Washington campus.

August 19, 2006  Maranee makes a pass by West Seattle on her way to Winslow, Bainbridge Island for one more night out after a glorious three weeks in South Puget Sound, making stops along the way at Penrose Point, Jarrell Cove, Oro Bay and other favorites.

July, 12-16, 2006 It's time again for the annual Pacific Northwest Chris-Craft Rendezvous at Port Orchard Marina and Maranee joined the festivities as she has done since the rendezvous' inception in 1989.

 

June 19, 2006 Fellow CYA members Jan & Kathi Skillingstead captured Maranee on film as she headed for home from the Bell Street Rendezvous from their boat, the 1933 Monk-designed Schertzer Shearwater. Displayed here with thanks are several of their photographic results.

June 16-18, 2006 2006 saw the largest Bell Street Classic Rendezvous ever. Over fifty wooden power pleasure yachts, many built before 1942, were represented at Seattle's Pier 66 for a delightful weekend. Looking forward to many more Rendezvous at the Classic Weekend!

June 16, 17 & 18, 2006  Maranee will join over forty wooden classic yachts at Seattle's Pier 66 along with the vintage cars of the Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts NW, the Pacific Northwest Metropolitan Owners Club and the Northwest Region of the Ferrari Club of America at this year's annual Bell Street Pier Classic Rendezvous and the Classic Weekend, presented by West Marine.
